Mission Impossible? Not with the Tyr's Special Ops goggles. These goggles have it all: polarized lenses, comfortable gaskets, antifog lenses, and a construction that fits most faces.
The Special Ops goggles block horizontal sun rays that bounce off the top of the water, which create a sustained, clear, and reliable swimming experience.
Special Ops are an ideal goggle for everyday training, open water swimming, and triathlon use.
Features Tyr's most comfortable silicone gaskets to date, maintaining shape, while minimizing pressure and maximizing seal. A unibody frame with a simple nosebridge system accommodates a wide variety of facial types without need for adjustment and work together with a split strap to create a secure fit.
What is so special about polarized lenses? When swimming outdoors, horizontal rays bounce from the sun off of the water into a swimmer's eyes causing difficult, nearly blinding situation. Polarized lenses prevent horizontal light rays from bouncing through a goggle's lenses.
Embedded antifog lenses. These are the highest qualit of antifog lenses available. Embedded antifog lenses retain clarity without the need for traditional antifog spray application and re-application and re-application, and re-application!
Wide peripheral view -- can see left and right without blockage. Whether you are swimming in a lane with multiple people or in a meet and want to see where the competition is during the race. Also ideal for open water competitions and triathlons.
Super soft gaskets with great suction. There's usually a toss up with goggles many provide great suction but are not comfortable -- others are very comfortable but do not provide the necessary suction. Special Ops offer the best of both worlds -- comfortable flanged gasket made even softer with a unique combination of material treatments on the flanged gaskets.
Single sized nosebridge that is attached to the frame around the lenses of the goggle. Flexible TPR provides a great fit for a wide vaiety of face shapes.
Split strap is a side adjustable single strap. When wrapping around the back of the head, the strap splits into two so as to create an effective triangulation of tension between the strap and the goggle around an athletes head.
Side clips are located around the swimmer's temples, providing an easily accessible point of interaction and adjustment with the use of a split strap system.
Love these goggles. Wow
