Returns and Exchanges
Team items purchased from Swim and Tri may be returned to us within 14 days from the date of shipment to receive a refund or credit.  Non-team items purchased from Swim and Tri may be returned to us within 30 days from the date of shipment to receive a refund or credit.  You must first contact Swim and Tri for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA Code) before making a return.  Items returned without an RMA will be delayed and are not eligible for a refund or exchange. They may be eligible for store credit minus a 15% restocking fee or may be returned to the customer. Please note that returned items are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Condition of Returned Goods
If you are returning an item, it must be in its original packaging and have its original tags attached.  Clothing items must be unworn and have all hang tags attached.

Items Which Cannot Be Returned

  • We cannot accept returns of customized items.
  • We cannot accept returns of nutritional products.
  • We cannot accept returns of swimming products or equipment that have been used in the water, that do not have original tags attached to the garment, or that have been removed from their original packaging.
  • DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs, or Software which have been opened or no longer in their original plastic wrap. Defective or damaged items may be exchanged for the same title only.
  • Special order items can only be returned in the case of a defect and will only be exchanged for replacement of the same item.  Examples of special order items include, but not limited to power meters, bicycle cranks, bikes, or custom swimsuits.

    Championship Suit Returns
    Championship suits may be returned within 14 days of when the suit was first shipped. Please be sure to try your championship suit on when you receive it. Please be sure to try your suit on with your undergarments. If you need to return or exchange the suit, you must do so within 14 day of when the suit was shipped.  All tags must still be attached to the garment, and there may be no deoderant or other markings on the suit. Championship suits are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Championship suits are those suits which are considered premium items used specifically to maximize performance.  Example may include (but are not limited to): Fastskin (FS, FSII, FS Pro, LZR), Tracer, Aquablade, Fusion, etc.

    Defective Items
    Defective items may be returned for a new item within 30 days of shipment. Defects that occur beyond 30 days from shipment will be handled on a case-by-case basis. You must first contact Swim and Tri, and we will work with you to determine whether there is a defect. Defective items will be exchanged and refunds will not be issued.  In most cases Swim and Tri will resolve the issue but in some cases the manufacturer will resolve the issue.  If the item is to be returned to Swim and Tri, you must first request an RMA. If a defective item has been customized and Swim and Tri provide a customized replacement at no additional cost, the customer is required to pay for the return shipping.

    Shipping & Handling

  • Customers who exchange an item will be charged shipping costs on the new item.
  • Swim and Tri reserves the right to correct any errors promoting “Free Shipping” on our website. Swim and Tri will not correct such errors without contacting affected customers.
  • Customers who purchase an item with “free shipping” and who desire a refund will receive a refund for their cost of the item minus our shipping & handling costs.
  • Swim and Tri will refund the customer's postage for items returned to us due to mis-shipment or items damaged during transit.
  • Swim and Tri is not responsible for delays in shipping due to the shipping company and therefore is not be liable for any shipments which do not arrive. The shipping company becomes responsible once we turn the package over to them -- not once it appears in their system. On rare occasions, the package may not be seen in their system after it has left our control.
  • Reshipment of an item returned due to bad address information will be charged to the customer
  • Any item returned using any method other than the lowest cost method is at the expense of the customer. Any item returned COD will be refused.
  • Closeout, Sale, or Grab Bag Merchandise
    Closeout, sale, or Grab Bag merchandise cannot be returned. Such merchandise can only be exchanged for size if the size is still available. Any item sold at a discount of 30% or greater is considered closeout.

    Customized Items
    Items which are customized according to your order instructions or per your team's instructions cannot be returned. Items with team logos, or other embellishments cannot be returned.

    These policies represent a good faith effort to service our customers to the best of our ability. Swim and Tri reserves the right to modify these policies at any time without notice.
